As for the goals:
- I was really busy during midterm so I wasn't able to go to Japanese Tables that week. However, I was able to go to Japanese tables after my meetings (even if it was just for 15 minutes so that was helpful.
- I wasn't able to attend Office Hours once a week!
- I had great opportunities to speak Japanese with my friends.
- I was able to shadow. It was extremely helpful.
Now for PE 3:
Goals:
- To continue to combine all aspects of pronunciation (pitch, intonation, speed) as well as grammar. However, this time, I want to really try to emphasize fluidity.
- To be more conscious of the the different usages of each particle. I feel like it is getting harder to keep track.
- To not only learn vocabulary at a faster rate, but also the pitch patterns.
Activities:
- Go to Japanese Table at least once every two weeks.
- Go to Office Hours once a week.
- Speak with Japanese friends at least once a week.
- Shadow once every two days for 10 minutes.
- Listen to recordings of vocabulary and dialogue.
